How do I access the tools in the By Student and By Question tabs and utilize them in the assessment?

The teacher can access the Selected Student tab through the By Student or By Question option from the Assignment Management options of the gradeboook.

Once the assessment is opened, teacher can locate the Tools floating modal on the right of the toolbar. 

Clicking on the Tools button displays an Accessibility Tools pop-up menu. 

Read Aloud

To have the entire text read aloud, use the Listen button located in the top toolbar.

To have select text read aloud, highlight the text you want read aloud by clicking and dragging over the text with your mouse.  Then select Listen from the pop-up menu.

Magnify

To zoom in, the teacher can select the magnify option within the Assignment Management menu.

Font Size

To adjust the size of the font, select Font Size from the Assignment Management menu.

Then select from the font options in the drop-down menu.  

To reset the font, select Font Size from the toolbar on the right and select Reset.

Notes from Student

Clicking on the Notes from Student option will display the Add Notes modal with the notes that the student provided when submitting the assignment. The modal includes two sections:

  • Assignment Notes: Overall notes related to the entire assignment.
  • Page Notes: Separate notes for each page, labeled as Page 1, Page 2, and so forth.

The modal is view-only for teachers and cannot be edited. The Save option is disabled.
