Creating Assignments
How do I customize the grading when creating an assignment?

Teachers will be able to change the grading for the specific assignment and for every student included in the assignment through the Advanced Grading Options section of the Assign modal.

Click on the down arrow of Advanced Grading options, to view the grading options that can be customized for this type of assignment.

Interactive resources include The Digital Student Book, Vocabulary Builders, Writing Prompts, ExperTrack Assessments, Custom Assessments and more!
For an interactive question - based assignment, the question sequence is listed. Teachers are not allowed to change the order of questions at this point of time.
The user is allowed to update the weight or % by either clicking on Distribute Weight evenly to 100 percent checkbox or can allocate weight or % by manually keying in the the weight or % in the cells by individual question.
Teachers can also mark a question to not grade by using the toggle button. This changes the weight of the question to 0 will also exclude the question scoring from assignments.

For Assignments with more than 10 questions, use the navigation tools at the bottom of the assign modal to view and customize all questions.

For Digital Student Books, the content pages will be listed as Content Pages as the type with the weights / percentage disabled and the toggle option for grade turned off (grey) .

PDF types of assignments includes Study Guides, Graphic Organizers, Let's Learn and more!
For these types of assignments, the Advanced Grading Options is displayed with Total Points. The teacher can change the total points and customize the grading.
