Assignment Review Options Explained

Teachers can select from five review options within the assignment settings that may allow students to review their submission. When first creating the assignment, these options are listed within the additional settings section of the Assign modal.
Review Options Include:
- Review Not Available
- Review Submission
- Review Graded Submission
- Review Graded Submission with Correct Answers
- Practice Mode
For all assignment types, the default setting is Review Not Available, but teachers may choose to edit this option while creating the assignment. Teachers can also edit this setting after creating the assignment by making the change on the Edit Assignment screen as a global change or by individual student.


Review Options for PDF Types of Assignments
Examples of PDF Types of Assignments
PDF types of assignments include Graphic Organizers, Let's Practice, Study Guides, and more! These resources have a yellow PDF label on the resource card within the course.
For PDF types of assignments, there are 2 review options:
- Review Not Available
- Review Submission
If Review Submission is selected, students will be able to review their submission and any annotations or highlights that they added and submitted to the teacher. They will not be able to make any changes while reviewing.

Review Options for Interactive Types of Assignments
Examples of Interactive Types of Assignments
Interactive types of assignments include the Digital Student Books, Vocabulary Builders, Writing Prompts, Vocabulary Quizzes, ExperTrack Assessments, and more! These resources have a blue Interactive label on the resource card within the course.
For Interactive types of assignments, there are 4 review options:
- Review Not Available
- Review Submission
- Review Graded Submission
- Review Graded Submission with Correct Answers (for auto-graded questions)
Review Submission- allows students to review the answers they submitted. With this option, the Overview screen does not display to students if they answered the question correct or incorrect and individual questions do not display the correct answer.


Review Graded Submission- allows students to see which answer submissions are correct or incorrect on the Overview screen. Correct answers for incorrectly answered questions are not displayed to the students.


Review Graded Submission with Correct Answers- if this option is selected for assignments with auto-graded questions, students will be able to review their answer selections and view the correct answers.

The question and answer key displayed at the top is the Student Answer, the question and answer displayed at the bottom of the screen is the Correct Answer.
