How to Reset an Assignment ?

The teacher can reset the assignment in two ways :

Note: To reset an assignment, the student must have already submitted the assignment. Teachers resetting the assignment will return the assignment status to the Start in the Student Portal.

 

Reset Assignment via Gradebook

Select the Gradebook tab from the GO! dashboard. 

Then select the specific class from the classes dropdown menu. 

Once the Class is selected, select the assignment which requires to be Reset for all or individual students.        

Clicking the assignment title will display the Assignment Management Options. Teacher can select Reset option.

A Reset Assignment modal will be displayed. 

The teacher will have to select all students the teacher will have to select the Header Checkbox located in the left hand side of the student name to select all student names and reset the assignment. 

To proceed with the selection, click the Yes button. The assignment will be reset for all the selected students. 

After clicking on the Yes button the assignment will be reset for all the selected students. 

 
 

Reset Assignment via Grade Summary Page

Teachers can locate the Grade Summary page by clicking on the assignment title from the Needs Grading widget, the Assignment Due widget and  the Gradebook module. 

After navigating to the Summary page the teacher can locate the Reset button. 

A Reset Assignment modal will be displayed. 

The teacher will have to select the header checkboxes located in the left hand side of the student name to select all student names and reset the assignment. 

To proceed with the selection, click the Yes button. The assignment will be reset for all the selected students.
