Canvas Users: How to Create and Grade Interactive Assignments from Gallopade Online

Important!
Your school district must select to roster for Gallopade Online with Canvas in order to integrate assignments from Gallopade Online.
After teachers have signed in 0with Canvas, added the course to their section, teachers are ready to create digital assignments that will integrate with Canvas. For more information on these first steps, please view this article How do I create a digital assignment? - Gallopade
Teachers who access Gallopade Curriculum through Canvas, will need to locate their assignments.
Grading the Teacher-Scored Assignment via GO!
To identify assignments that have student submissions ready to be scored, the teacher clicks on the Assignment name from the Assignments module of the canvas page.

By default, the selected Assessment opens with the Preview Activity tab displayed.

Navigate to Summary Tab to view the class details and the assignments attempted by the student.

The system employs an auto-save functionality that eliminates the traditional requirement for teachers to click a "Submit" button when grading. When a teacher modifies a score in either tab (Grade by Student or Grade by Question), the system automatically syncs the data with canvas for the grading process. After grading, the grades can be viewed in the Canvas gradebook.

Auto-graded Assignment Scores
On the Assignments Tab, the teachers can load the assignment using the external tool and the assignment can be saved and published to the students. When a teacher clicks on the assignment name within the Canvas platform, the auto-graded assignment is displayed as follows with the “Graded” status.

Also, the grades will be reflected in the Canvas Gradebook.
