How do I Activate an Inactive Group ?

Updated June 30th, 2026

The teachers will have to navigate to the Classes Tab from the GO! application dashboard and toggle ON the Display Inactive Groups slider to find the Inactive Group. By default, the classes associated with active groups are displayed.

The teacher will have to click on Apply Filters button on the filters pane after toggling ON the Display Inactive Groups slider. The right side of the classes screen displays the classes associated with Inactive groups.

The teacher will have to click the pencil icon next to the Inactive group, which will direct them to the Edit Groups page.

The teacher can change the status of the group from Inactive to Active by using the Status dropdown. Click on the Save button from the right side of the Edit Group page to save the update.

The teacher will receive a success notification indicating that the Student Group details have been updated. By clicking the "View All" link, the teacher will notice that the Inactive group has been changed to an Active group and is now displayed in all the active classes associated with it.
