All about the Blueprint Report for Interactives

Blueprint Report can be accessed via three methods; 

  1. From the Gradebook
  2. From Custom Content 
  3. From Reports Module 
  4. From Assignments Dashboard

Accessing the Blue Print Report

Method 1: Accessing Blue Print Report from Gradebook

Navigate to the Gradebook tab of the GO! application.

Then select the class the student is rostered in.

Then select the Assignment and click on the title. It will display a pop-up menu of assignment management options.

Within the assignment management options click on Reports > Blueprint Report option.

The teacher will be directed to the Blueprint Report page. 

The Teacher is allowed to navigate to the gradebook page directly by clicking on the ‘View Gradebook’ label. 

 
 

Method 2: Accessing Blue Print Report from Custom Content

Navigate to the "Custom Content" tab from the left sidebar of the dashboard.

Click on the assignments tab.

To access the Blueprint option, click the ellipsis (⋮) menu located at the far-right end of the assignment. This will open a dropdown list of actions (e.g., Preview, Publish, Edit, Copy, Delete), where the teacher will have to select Blueprint option from the available options.

Once the teacher selects the Blueprint from the ellipsis menu, the teacher will be directed to the Blueprint Report page. 

The Teacher is allowed to navigate to the Custom Content page directly by clicking on the ‘View Content’ label. 

 
 

Method 3: Accessing Blue Print Report from Reports Listing

After logging into the GO! dashboard, select the Reports tab from the left-side navigation menu.

From the Reports page, click on Blueprint Report under the Favorite Reports section or from the available reports list.

The teacher will be directed to Step 1 – Select Assignment on the Blueprint Report page. From this step, the teacher must choose an assignment and then run the report using Run Report button to generate and view the Blueprint Report. 

Default view for the teacher will be ‘By Class’ View on the Blueprint Report page. 

 

The Teacher is allowed to navigate to the Reports page directly by clicking on the ‘View Reports' label.

 

 
 

Method 4: Accessing Blueprint Report from Assignments Dashboard

After logging into the GO! dashboard, select the Assignments tab from the left-side navigation menu.

From the Assignment page, click on the Reports drop down and a list will appear. Then click on the Blueprint Report option to access it.

Upon selection, the system will automatically navigate the teacher to the Blueprint Report page, where the report is generated and displayed for the chosen assignment, allowing the teacher to review report.

The Teacher is allowed to navigate to the Reports page directly by clicking on the ‘View Assignments' label.

 
 

 

 
 

Step 1: Select Assignment 

When accessing the Blue Print Report through Custom Content, Gradebook, or Assignments tab, Step 1 will be disabled since the assignment is already pre-selected. However, when opening the Blue Print Report from the Reports tab, both Step 1 and Step 2 will be available for selection.

In the Step 1: Select assignment step, the default message before applying any filters will be “Please select and Apply Filters on the left and then select an assignment to run report”.  The default tab selected for the teachers would be the ‘By Class' tab. 

The By Class filter allows the teacher to filter by  School Year, District, School , Teachers, Assignment Type & Categories. Also, Include “In Progress” filter can be used by the teacher to include / exclude assignments that are started but not fully graded.

The By Course filter allows the teacher to filter by  School Year, District, School, Assignment Type, and Categories, with an option to include assignments that are "In Progress" before applying the filters.

After selecting the Assignment Filters and Assignment from the Assignment List on Step 1, the teacher will have to click on the Run Report button.

The teacher will be navigated to Step 2 > View Report screen. The Step 2: View Report Step has 5 sections and are explained below. 

 

 
 

Step 2 : View Report - Header

On Step 2 of the Blueprint Report page, the teacher will see the header section of the report. The header content changes depending on whether the assignment is accessed from the Gradebook, Custom Content, or Reports screen.

The header displays the following information: 

  • Title of the assignment
  • Original title
  • Subtitle
  • Type of assignment  
    • Interactive, Non-interactive, PDF etc 
  • Standards Icon 
    • Clicking on the Standards icon will display standards modal displaying the standards associated with the Assignment 
  • Information Icon 
    • Clicking on the "i" will display Resource Descriptions and Instructional Strategies modal 
  • Print Button 
    • Allows the teacher to Print the Blueprint report in PDF format
  • Export Button 
    • Allows the teacher to download the report in Excel and CSV as per requirement
  • Total Questions 
    • Total questions present in the assignment 
  • Points 
    • Shows aggregate points for the assignment  

Unassigned Gallopade Assignment

When the assignment is not Assigned to any class, the header information is reflected as below: 

The teacher can notice the assignment status as ‘Unassigned’.  

 
 

Assigned Gallopade Assignment

When the assignment is Assigned to any class, the header information is reflected as below with extra fields: 

  • Status 
    • When the assignment is Assigned to a class, the status shifts to Assigned  
  • School 
    • Name of the School
  • Teacher's Name
  • Class 
    • Name of the Class assignment is assigned
  • Due Date  
    • Once the assignment is assigned to a class, the due date is displayed with the header.
 
 

Unassigned / Assigned Custom Assignment

When the Custom Assignment is not Assigned / assigned to any class, the header information is reflected without the Sub-title and it reflects the Title of the Custom Assessment. 

 
 
 
 

Step 2: View Report - All Questions Section

Below the header information, All Questions section is displayed with 7 fields. 

1. # Sequence of Questions

  • The symbol # column lists the question numbers of the Assignment in order.
  • It helps teachers and students quickly identify and reference each specific question. Clicking on the sort arrow will sort the option in ascending and descending order. 
  • Clicking on the number will launch a Question Preview modal that displays the question along with the correct answer.
  • The teacher can also click on the Standards icon to open the standard listing modal.

2. Question Stem

  • The Question Stem represents the description of the Question. 
  • If a question is set to Not Grade, the entire question will appear grayed out and will display Not Graded label under Points Possible column.

3. Correct Answer

  • This column shows the expected correct answer for each question.
  • For multiple-choice questions, it may list a letter (such as A, B, or C) to represent the correct answer choices 
  • For open-ended or drawing type questions, label “Answer varies,” is displayed. 

4. Question Type

  • This column explains the Question types used in the Assignment. Some of the Question examples are Multiple Choice, Fill-in-the-Blank, Dropdown, Drawing, Multiple Choice Matrix

5. Points Possible

  • Shows the maximum number of points a student can earn for each question based on the assignment’s scoring criteria.

6. Aligned Standards

  • This column denotes the standards associated with the question. If standards are not associated with the question, it will be denoted by a ‘-’.

7. Location of Question

  • This column identifies the specific placement of a question within the instructional materials like DSB's , Clickbooks,  Expertrack. 
 
 

Step 2: View Report -Questions by Standard

Below the All Questions section, the teacher can view the Question by Standards Section.  Each standard is listed separately along with the number of questions aligned to it. The Questions by Standard section view will change from one state to another based on the standards the states are aligned with.

 
 

Step 2: View Report -Questions by Type

Below the Question by Standards section, the teacher can view the Question by Type Section.  The Questions by Type tab provides a summary of the assignment question types used in this assignment. 

1. Question Type

  • Indicates the type of the questions used in the assignment, such as Multiple Choice, Fill-in-the-Blank, or Drawing. 

2. Question Count

  • Displays the total count of questions of that type included in the assignment.
 
 

Step 2: View Report - Questions by Location

Below the Question by Type section, the teacher can view the Question by Location Section. The Questions by Location  tab shall display the origin of assignment questions within the course structure.  
It shall provide visibility into how questions are distributed across the course, unit, and chapter,

1. Course

  • Identifies the full course title from which the assignment questions are sourced.

2. Unit

  • Indicates the unit within the course that the questions aligns.

3. Chapter

  • Specifies the chapter or lesson within the unit that the questions are used.

4. Question Count

  • Shows the total number of questions on the assignment that come from the corresponding course, unit, and chapter.
